It was once said that “without music, life would be miserable.” This may well be true, as there was no hint of misery in our buzzing Music Hub today! The students began by exercising their vocal chords with some fun (albeit confusing!) tongue twisters. Once they were all truly warmed up, they launched into their version of Starman by the late, great David Bowie. The children have been working on this song since last week, and it is really starting to sound magical. In the next few weeks they aim to put their own twist on the famous song with some lovely harmonies. To complete our voyage of discovery into space themed music, we listened to a piece of music called Saturn – a piece the students found exciting, if a little scary! Hope to see you all back next week, for some more music to keep the misery at bay!
