This week we happily welcomed the enthusiastic boys and girls of Knocklong Primary School to the Science Hub. Our focus for the day was energy. We discussed topics such as wind energy, potential energy and kinetic energy. Sean’s display of experiments incorporating all manner of bangs and explosions had the session off to an exciting start. We had a great morning full of scientific discoveries. We found out that crackers actually contain more energy than pringles, and that copper is an excellent conductor of heat! The Knocklong group were a fantastic bunch of scientists, and we would love to see you all return to the Science Hub at some stage!
